Rudra Manani (she/her) is an artist of Indian heritage residing on the unceded lands of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, also known as Victoria B.C. She is an honours graduate with a BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Victoria. Rudra exhibited her first solo exhibition, Tunnel Vision, in 2023 and attended an artist residency at the Skopelos Foundation for the Arts in Skopelos, Greece in 2022. 

At the moment, her multidisciplinary work is informed by Hindu ideologies of yoga, karma and reincarnation, and the liminality within these principles. Also fascinated by the cultural appropriation of Hinduism in the West, she investigates her biculturalism using themes of tradition, alienation, and spirituality.
